There's much to see at the Lois Loftin Doll Museum. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about the many dolls. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line.
More than 3,000 fascinating dolls on view as one of the largest collections under one roof. Most were lovingly collected by Lois Loftin and represent a variety of themes and cultures depicting distinctive characteristics of history.
Mrs. Lois Loftin's fascination with dolls started over half a century ago as she collected, dressed, restored, and kept records of the many dolls in her collection. Some of the finest porcelain dolls from France & Germany, some dating from the 1820"s, are among the collection. Simple handmade dolls as well as mass produced toy dolls are also part of the collection. They range in size from miniature to life-size. Mrs. Lois Loftin has donated her doll collection for the public's enjoyment. We, the people of Beauregard Parish and the Lois Loftin Doll Museum Board, are extremely pleased to be the recipients of this fine and unique collection and proudly share it with you.

Sun Coast Films: Over 3000 Dolls, some beautiful some creepy. A few will give you chills. Some happy and a sad story as well. A definite must see if you are in Deridder.
In DeRidder Louisiana is an incredible and very large museum of dolls. Cabbage Patch Kids, My Buddy, Barbie, Porcelain, and many other types of dolls all once belonged to one lady who donated her collection of over 3000 dolls to the city.
Sun Coast Films: The Museum is very beautiful and a must see if you are in town. A big shout out to my Cajun sister Marlena for the hospitality whenever I'm in town.
